This collection consists of two lawyer's desk books from the Depression era Boone, North Carolina. Based on a handwritten description within the inside cover of the 1929 book and the letter head found within the 1932 book, the books are believed to have been used by two law firms Trivette and Comer (1929) and Trivette and Holshouser (1932). The books record payments received, trips taken, and court actions taken. The lawyer's desk books were produced by Wachovia Bank and Trust Company.
